Christmas Is HERE!!!!

Oh I just lurvvvvvvvvvvvv the HOLIDAYS! This year I'm conducting another Christmas Party at my house. The last one was two years ago and I only have, I think , 10 guest and the rest were my parents' guests. But this time I'm going to have 20 guests! Double FUN!!! I really think that this time it's going to be memorable 'cuz CARAMEL is coming!!!! YEHAYYYY!!!! If you're wondering who's this Caramel, well he's just my super duper cute crush with the killer smile that could melt me like a sundae on a really hot day! Sigh. I can't wait for Dec 23!
This year I received a lot of gifts and it's not yet Dec 25! I really felt that these are meaningful gifts that came from meaningful persons who really cares a lot for me. This is the first time that I didn't mind the size or wrapper of my gifts. 'Cuz I usually complains whenever someone gives me a gift that is wrapped horrible and wrapped with really disgusting gift wrappers. What can I say? I'm just really meticulous! As I was saying, this time I appreciated all the gifts that I received recently. Well, I think recently I've become sentimental. Was it because I finally learned how to appreciate my friends? Weird, but I like it. I'm really happy that God made me realize that. That's why this Christmas, I'm really going to thanks him since it's Jesus' birthday and everything. This year has been amazing and I hope it keeps getting better as each day passes.

Once Upon a Time I Choked on a Vegetable

Dearest Me,

Hey there! Long time no see! Yeah...let's get to the point. (*ahem*)
I just wanna let you know that I finally figured out that thing that's been missing. Well, I hope you remember who and what you were before you crashed 'cuz I certainly do. Yeah you remembered almost everything, but what about that missing piece that's been bugging you for quite sometime now? Don't you think that's important? Or should i say: Don't you think he's important? To tell you the truth, I really don't care who or what he is to you. 'Cuz as I've seen so far, he certainly doesn't make the cut. Now, don't take this wrongly but I just have to say this. I know you took the trouble of trying to remember why he is important to you but he's just not worth it. You understand? Of course you don't! What the heck am I thinking? I'm talking to you; A person so stubborn and naive. How do I expect you to understand? You don't even understand yourself! Look how easily you are moved! You're so stupid that you might just choke on a vegetable!
I love you and I just want you to be happy. Just forget about that missing piece. We'll just replace it w/ another one. OK? Why am I doing this? It's because you keep eating things that you can't digest! Like that vegetable! Who in this world would ever choke on a vegetable but you. It's just so simple. Why can't you understand it? There's a whole lot of food on the table, why choose this one? You don't even like vegetable for crying out loud!
Enough of the food talk! You're making me hungry. Anyways, if you understood what I told you then my mission's done. If not, then I would just have to make you understand next time. You got it?!

That's all for now.

P.S. Make sure to bring water with you whenever you eat something, especially if it's a kind of vegetable.
Sincerely Yours,
ME

Sabayang Pagbigkas: 2nd Place!!!!!!!!

August. As usual, my school always prepare something for that special occassion. Last year was lavishly prepared that's why this year we just layed low. But that didn't stop us from enjoying Buwan ng Wika. The Filipino department of High School organized a contest for each level. Since I'm already in third year, Speech choir was given to us. Each section must have their own representatives. I was one of the representatives of our class and not only that... I was also the director. The third year was given a peice: Kayong mga Naghuhugas... It was written by our own adviser himself. Well, I can say that the competition was intense. Each section was determined to win especially us, since our adviser was the author himself. The peice was given to us as early as July to give us enough time to prepare. For me, I couldn't say that the time aloted was enough because the day before the actual performance, I was still busy making the costumes and finishing the choreography for the peice. Sigh. Good thing I have my members to help out. Our adviser also helped in our voice and acting. Before we parted that day I told myself: We can do this!

Day of the performance. Our class was so busy preparing for the performance. While us, the representatives, rehearse the whole peice, the rest of the class were preparing the props we're going to use. We even borrowed our LE period so that we could prepare ourselves properly. Then, the time came finally! We were called to go up to the Little Theater with 3- 8. Before entering, we prayed first. Then Kyle Plaza told us no matter what happen that day, we just have to enjoy ourselves. Then that's it. After the performance, I was very confident that we'll win because I know that we did great. That afternoon, ma'am Brual told me that we got 2nd place! Gosh!! I could've have died there. After all those hardwork and stress...finally! It has paid off!!! Hahahahaha That day was the most hectic, busy, stressful yet fun day ever! I hope there's going to be more in the future.

I Love to DANCE....DANCE....DANCE....DAnce?!

When you ask ordinary people what is dance for them, they would say: it's for entertainment, a hobby or it's just a compilation of moves and actions, but try asking REAL dancers. You won't hear them saying those things. Dancing for them is something significant and it's already a part of their mind, heart and soul. I for one agree with that. When I dance, I don't think that it's just for fun, entertainment or just something to pass time. Dancing is a way of expressing myself. Ever since I was born, dancing has already been attached to me. My mother is/was a dancer so it's already in my blood. She didn't force me to be a dancer. I decided it by myself. I told myself: As long as I am alive and breathing, I will continue to dance. I love the feeling of music flowing through my every being. It's also the reason why I am thankful that I am alive. God gave me this talent and I thank him for that. That's why I always treasure the time I use when I am dancing.

Here are some of the dance I've performed:

This one is an example of 'Maskara Festival' dance that we performed in school during our Filipino month. Of all the dance that I've performed this one is the most scandalous! Why scandalous? After the dance, my classmates kept on teasing me and my partner for two or more months! It was so irritating and annoying!

I'm the onw wearing a blue glittery top and shiny miniskirt just behind the girl in red.

I'm the one lifting my left foot

The first three pictures is G6 and the others is Fireworks. I like our dance in G6 because the steps are so me plus it's Hip Hop (I love Hip Hop). The dance in Fireworks is amazing! The effects of the fans are so exhilarating! Totally breathtaking. I didn't know it was that awesome while I was dancing but when I saw the pictures...wow! I love this!

This one is performed during our graduation ceremony in Taiwan Study Tour. We performed lots of dance there but I couldn't find the pictures so I can't show you. Sorry. The best thing about about this dance (the one on the two pics) is that I get to be partners with my crush! There was a waltz part so we had to hold hands and embrace! Weeeee!!!

I am also a part of our school CDT- Chinese Dance Troupe. We do diff. kinds of Chinese dances, Hip hop and Jazz. We usually perform during school programs, Alumni reunion, Gala Nights and programs outside the school like in SM X. We also join competitions like the one in YMCA. Sadly, I wasn't part of the group. They won first place.

This is a video of the dance:

Just by looking at the pics you already have an idea on what kind of dance they performed. It was a thrilling experience, well that's what they said.

Gala Night Poster

That day we performed a collection of dances we performed. This concert was meant as a farewell gift to our teacher who is going back to China this coming April. Although some of the dances was a disaster (for us at least), I'm glad that it turned out ok. Actually, we didn't expect a lot people to come but we were surprised that the auditorium was almost full. It was a veru fun day for us Chinese Dance Troupe!

That's all for now. I'm going to keep updating this one 'cuz there's going to be more dance! See you next time!
